Tax Accountant Associate
We are seeking a team player with a positive attitude and the highest level of personal integrity to join our tax team as a Tax Associate. In this role, you will assist in engaging, maintaining, and improving client relationships through the preparation of Business, Individual, and Fiduciary tax returns and providing guidance on a variety of tax issues for clients, including tax planning and projections.

Primary Responsibilities:
Prepare Individual, Business tax, non-profit, gift, and trust tax returns
Prepare tax projections, assessing multiple alternatives
Create workpapers that effectively tell the story of how projects were prepared
Research and analyze a wide range of tax issues
Assist with client communication: request data, field questions, participate in client meetings
Assisting with any special projects related to servicing and the requests of our clients.

Required Qualifications:
0-2 tax seasons in public accounting
Bachelor’s Degree with concentration in accounting or related field - required
Client-centric mindset

Strong collaboration, interpersonal and communication skills
Keen, consistent attention to detail
Proficient at Microsoft Excel, providing clear outputs for analysis and comprehension - preferred
Able to solve issues independently, analytically, both proactively and reactively
Effective at managing various projects and taking them to completion by firm deadlines
Adaptable to evolving processes
Experience working with LLMs preferred
Physical Requirements:
Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer
Able to lift up to 25lbs
Compensation Range:
60,000 – 70,000
