Entry Level/Compensation $85K – $95K DOE
Gerber Kawasaki is one of the fastest-growing and most influential independent wealth and investment management firms in the country. We are seeking a Tax Associate to support our tax department by preparing tax returns and providing overall tax-related support. We are looking for an proactive, detail-oriented professional with strong analytical skills and the ability to work effectively with both clients and management. This is a unique opportunity for the right candidate to grow with a well-established, diverse, and expanding tax practice.
This role is 80% in-office, 4 days per week
Job Description:
- Experience preparing and reviewing returns for C corporations, S corporations, LLCs and High Net Worth individuals
- Ability to communicate complex tax issues to non-tax professionals and clients
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects while maintaining strong attention to detail
- Experience working collaboratively across teams and departments
Minimum Qualifications:
- 0-3 years of relevant work experience
- BA/BS in Accounting. MS Tax preferred.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office programs and experience with tax preparation & planning software. Experience with Lacerte preferred.
- Demonstrated sense of urgency, commitment, and reliability
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
Salary: $85,000+ depending on experience (DOE)
