Tax Client Services Delivery Specialist
Overview
Wolf is seeking a Tax Client Services Delivery Specialist to join our growing and well-established national firm. The Tax Client Services Delivery Specialist oversees the execution and continuous improvement of the firm’s tax return delivery process, ensuring that all client deliverables are completed accurately, efficiently, and with consistent, high-quality client experience. This role requires strong attention to detail, a process improvement mindset, general familiarity with IRS forms, and the ability to work calmly within tight deadlines during peak tax season. This position will also require the preparation and delivery of other client deliverables such as proposals, meeting materials, Statements of Work, Master Service Agreements, Non-Disclosure Agreements, and client consent forms.
Responsibilities
- Client Deliverables & Tax Return Delivery
- Manage the end to end delivery of tax returns using firm approved tax software and delivery platforms
- Review, assemble, and release tax returns in compliance with IRS e file standards and internal quality control procedures
- Verify client signatures, authorizations, and required documentation prior to federal and state e-filing
- Flag discrepancies or missing information and coordinate resolution with tax teams
- Client Facing Support & Communication
- Serve as a primary point of contact for clients regarding the signing of their tax returns and other deliverables
- Provide clear, professional guidance to clients throughout the delivery process
- Ensure a consistently positive, responsive, and organized client experience
- Communicate client questions, issues, and status updates clearly to internal engagement teams
- Engagement Documentation & Related Deliverables
- Prepare and coordinate delivery of client deliverables such as engagement letters, Statements of Work, Master Service Agreements, Non Disclosure Agreements, questionnaires, and consent forms
- Maintain accurate and well organized digital records of approvals, confirmations, and client communications
- Process Ownership & Continuous Improvement
- Take ownership of assigned delivery workflows from start to finish
- Ensure consistency, accuracy, and organization across all client deliverables
- Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, standardization, and client communication
- Contribute ideas to strengthen the firm’s overall tax client delivery model
Qualifications
- Prior experience in a public accounting firm; tax experience strongly preferred
- 1–2+ years of experience supporting or processing U.S. tax returns
- Working knowledge of IRS forms, tax terminology, and the tax compliance lifecycle
- Experience with CCH Axcess Tax and GoSystem Tax preferred
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple deliverables and deadlines simultaneously
- Experience with SafeSend Returns is a plus
- Comfort working across multiple technology platforms and client systems
- Experience supporting busy season workflows and deadlines
Work Schedule:
- Standard business hours with extended hours and weekend availability during peak tax season

The salary range for this position is $55,000 - $65,000.
Actual compensation within the range will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience, qualifications and location, and applicable employment laws. In addition to base pay, you may be eligible to participate in our performance-based incentive compensation or sales commission plans.
