Tax Senior

Primary Purpose of Role


The primary responsibility of this role will be to provide tax compliance services to a mix of clients and gain greater exposure to advisory and consultancy work deal with all matters relating to the management of a portfolio of clients. This role will also provide assistance to the managers and partners in both compliance and advisory client work.


Key Duties:

  • Managing your own portfolio of clients, being the main point of contact for all queries.
  • Preparation of and peer reviewing personal self-assessment tax returns and associated accounts and claims
  • Dealing with HMRC enquiries, penalty notices etc.
  • Advising on day-to-day tax queries such as PAYE codes, tax efficient company cars etc.
  • Supporting the managers and partners with tax planning for individuals.
  • Preparation of GP Type 1 and Type 2 superannuation certificates and assisting with queries from PCSE throughout the year.
  • Coach and mentor junior members of the team to ensure compliance and service delivery, providing technical assistance to other team members where needed.
  • Encourage equality and diversity amongst teams.
