Job Description & Summary

At PwC, our people in Tax services focus on providing advice and guidance to clients on tax planning, compliance, and strategy. These individuals help businesses navigate complex tax regulations and optimise their tax positions.

In transfer pricing at PwC, you will focus on providing guidance and support to clients on transfer pricing matters. In this field, you will help businesses establish and maintain appropriate pricing for transactions between related entities, maintaining compliance with tax regulations and minimising the risk of disputes.

Transfer pricing sits at the intersection of global tax, business strategy, and economics — and it has never been more important. As multinational organisations expand across borders, they rely on trusted advisors to help them navigate complex regulations, manage risk, and design tax-efficient operating models that fuel sustainable growth.

Key Responsibilities

The Transfer Pricing Associate role places you within a specialised team that advises clients on international tax strategies. You'll play a meaningful role in helping clients navigate complex global tax environments, ensuring compliance with transfer pricing regulations, and optimising operating models. Your work will directly impact multinational corporations — providing them with strategic insights and recommendations that minimise tax risks and enhance operational efficiency on a global scale.

This is an excellent opportunity for fresh graduates to gain hands-on experience in international taxation, transfer pricing technical expertise, and client-facing advisory skills within a leading professional services firm. Your responsibilities include:

  • Research and Analysis. Conduct thorough research and analysis on clients' businesses, transfer pricing issues, regulations, and market trends to support client engagements.

  • Economic Analysis. Assist in conducting benchmarking analyses to evaluate and support transfer pricing strategies and policies.

  • Documentation and Compliance. Prepare transfer pricing documentation in compliance with local regulations and international standards (e.g., OECD Transfer Pricing Guidelines, IRAS Transfer Pricing Guidelines, BEPS).

  • Client Engagement. Collaborate with senior team members to support client meetings, prepare presentations, and contribute to high-quality client deliverables.

  • Project Management. Manage tasks within assigned projects, ensuring deadlines, quality standards, and client expectations are consistently met.

  • Collaborate Across Borders. Work closely with cross-functional teams within the Singapore firm and with counterparts in PwC offices around the world to deliver comprehensive, joined-up client solutions.

  • Embrace Digital Transformation. Use digital tax tools, data analytics, and AI-enabled platforms to enhance the quality and efficiency of our work — and stay ahead of the technology shaping the future of tax.

  • Strong leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills, with the ability to engage confidently with peers, clients, and stakeholders.

  • The ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment with multiple competing priorities.

  • Strong project and time management skills, with the discipline to deliver quality work on time.
