TCM Tuina Therapist

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for providing professional wellness and therapy services to clients, applying Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) theory for formulating personalized tuina for the relief of issues such as neck, shoulder, waist, and leg pain, etc.
  • Proficient in tuina techniques such as Yizhichan, rolling, pressing and kneading, bone-setting, etc, ensuring the treatment process is standardized, safe, and effective.
  • Deliver outstanding customer service and collaborate with physicians to monitor client’s progress and drive treatment outcomes.
  • Responsible for the daily maintenance and inspection of the treatment area ensuring safe use.
  • Any other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Professionally trained as a TCM practitioner qualification or a Tuina therapist with a minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in TCM Tuina.
  • Solid foundation in TCM, accurate meridian and acupoint location, skilled techniques, possessing good physical strength and endurance.
  • Possess good professional ethics and service awareness with strong communication skills
  • Patient, responsible and able to adapt to the pace of outpatient work.
  • Bilingual in English and Mandarin (to liaise with Mandarin-speaking patients).
  • Positive attitude and well-groomed.
  • Able to work weekends and on a rotating roster (5 or 5.5-day work week with rostered off-days).
