Teacher (Health Care Grades 6-12)

About the Position: This is a Full-time, Seasonal Teacher (Health Care grades 6-12) position at Guam High School, located in Agana, Guam. Federal employees at Guam High School are currently entitled to receive a 11.88% Cost of Living Allowance (COLA) in addition to the base salary.

Develop lesson plans independently within the framework of approved curriculum standards, course outlines, texts, and guidelines.

Support, counsel, and motivate students to meet of exceed grade-level standards.

Establish classroom routines consistent with a healthy learning environment.

Adhere to and, when applicable, implement safety and security procedures.

Evaluate and develop educational materials to improve the educational program.

Using teaching principles and best practices and standards-based instruction to instruct assigned subject(s) and grade level(s) in a classroom or lab setting.
