The German European School Singapore (GESS) is looking for expressions of interest for the position of Teaching Assistant, commencing at the earliest convenience.

Assist in the routine care of children
Communicate with parents, teachers and school community

Demonstrate the highest levels of honesty, integrity and professionalism
Attend staff meetings, collaborative planning meetings and other school event, when required, i.e. professional development

Requirements / Anforderungen
Must be proficient in German - spoken & written language - as the class will be conducted in German
Good English skills - spoken & written language - is required, as you will be interacting with English-speaking students
Have an engaging and attentive disposition with a passion and talent to work with young children
Must have experience in teaching hands-on and inquiry lead approaches as well as in a play-based curriculum
The ability to approach people in a friendly and welcoming manner
Must demonstrate strong work ethics & possess a positive working attitude and be a great team player
Sehr gute Deutschkenntnisse sind erfolderlich - sowohl mündlich als auch schriftlich - da der Unterricht auf Deutsch durchgeführt wird
