Your Role as Team Leader - Hospitality
You’ll lead and deliver person-centred hospitality services within our Residential Aged Care community, overseeing high-quality catering, cleaning, and laundry operations. You’ll foster a culture of teamwork and customer service while driving continuous improvement. You’ll empower individuals to live more independently, safely, and meaningfully by:
- Lead and support catering, cleaning, and laundry teams to deliver high quality hospitality services in a warm, home-like environment.
- Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and infection control standards across all hospitality operations are followed.
- Promote resident choice, dignity, and quality of life through exceptional service and attention to individual preferences.
- Foster a positive, customer focused team culture built on cooperation, respect, and continuous improvement.
- Monitor quality, budgets, and compliance with Aged Care Accreditation Standards to ensure excellence in service delivery.

What We’re Looking For
- Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a customer-focused team across catering, cleaning, and laundry services.
- Proven experience working in a medium-scale commercial kitchen, ideally within a health or aged care environment.
- Strong commitment to Workplace Health & Safety, food hygiene, and infection control standards.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills with the ability to supervise a diverse workforce.
- Compassion, respect, and professionalism in interactions with residents, families, colleagues, and visitors.
A Valuable Addition, Yet Not a Must-Have!
- Demonstrated ability to understand and use effectively electronic systems that support, ordering of consumables, financial management of goods for all Hospitality services.
- Ability to undertake stock requisition and control within budget guidelines.
- Willingness and ability to obtain Certificate IV Hospitality Operations.
Essential Requirements
- Proof of COVID-19 vaccination status (or as required by legislation and WMQ policy)
- Relevant probity checks required by legislation and WMQ Limited policy.
- Current Queensland Driver’s Licence and willingness to travel for work
