Insurance Telemarketing Team Leader
Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Insurance Telemarketing Team Leader to lead and manage our telesales team. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving sales performance, coaching and developing team members, implementing sales strategies, and ensuring operational excellence while maintaining high customer service standards.
Key Responsibilities
o Lead, manage, and motivate the telesales team to achieve daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets.
o Work closely with Sales Managers to develop and execute effective telesales strategies and initiatives.
o Coach, mentor, and provide ongoing training to team members to enhance sales techniques and performance.
o Develop and refine sales scripts, objection handling techniques, and FAQ responses to improve sales effectiveness.
o Monitor team productivity and sales performance, identify areas for improvement, and implement corrective actions where necessary.
o Provide support and guidance to team members on day-to-day operational matters and customer interactions.
o Build and maintain strong customer relationships to support business objectives and service excellence.
o Handle escalated customer feedback and complaints professionally and effectively.
o Prepare, compile, and present sales performance reports and analysis to management.
o Ensure compliance with company policies, regulatory requirements, and operational procedures.
Requirements
o Minimum experience in a Team Leader or supervisory role, preferably within the insurance or telesales industry.
o Possess valid General Insurance certifications – BCP and PGI (mandatory).
o Prior experience in telesales and/or insurance sales is preferred.
o Strong leadership, coaching, and people management skills.
o Proven ability to drive sales performance and achieve targets in a fast-paced environment.
o Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
o Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
o Able to work effectively under pressure and manage competing priorities.
o Strong analytical skills with the ability to prepare and present reports.
