Team Leader, Summer Staff Recruiting - Camps
Overview
Scope of Position: The Summer Staff Recruiting Team Leader plays a critical role in advancing our mission by designing and executing a comprehensive, scalable recruiting strategy that delivers 900 exceptional, Christ-centered, college-age staff each year. This leader will build and develop a high-performing work team, leverage data-driven insights, and collaborate across the organization to ensure an excellent and seamless applicant experience from first touch to hire.

Responsibilities
- Design and execute a scalable global recruiting strategy that delivers 900 high-quality, mission-aligned college staff annually.
- Lead and develop the Recruiting Work Team, fostering clarity, ownership, and high performance across all recruiting functions.
- Drive execution excellence by implementing 4DX practices, including clear priorities, measurable goals, visible scoreboards, and a strong cadence of accountability.
- Oversee and coach Recruiting Director Associates while providing strategic guidance to Recruiting Coordinators embedded within program teams.
- Mobilize and partner with organizational leaders to align teams around recruiting goals and ensure effective, consistent execution of strategy.
- Manage and leverage data insights in partnership with the Data Strategy Team by defining key metrics, analyzing trends, and guiding real-time adjustments to optimize recruiting outcomes.
- Champion a seamless applicant experience by collaborating cross-functionally (especially with Onboarding and Logistics), investing in recruiting innovation and market insights, and equipping teams with the tools, training, and resources to succeed.
- Steward and oversee recruiting-related portions of the Staff Development budget.
- Support related projects as assigned.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in a related field, or equivalent work experience.
- Requires 3-4 years’ experience in recruiting or related field with experience in a leadership role.
- Travel up to 25% throughout the year.
- Intermediate-Advanced Proficiency level in Microsoft Suite
- Experience in project management software such as Asana or Monday
- Experience in handling data and disseminating actionable findings
- Experience in Customer Relationship Management software, i.e., Salesforce, and back-end administrative support of application systems.
- Demonstrated experience in successfully handling confidential information and executing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Demonstrated communication, interpersonal, organizational and teamwork skills.
- A self-professing Christ follower, actively involved in a Christian faith community and actively pursuing Christ on a consistent basis.
- Must hold or obtain a valid driver’s license for the state in which they are hired and have an acceptable driving record.
