TECH ASSISTANT-IMAGING SVCS
Overview
This position assists and supports the Imaging department Technologists and by assisting in the Clinical Information System workflow for patients and getting then ready for their exams, transporting patients as needed, preparing CD's of imaging exams using the PACS, and providing a multitude of other clerical/office tasks.Responsibilities

- Knowledge of medical terminology and of anatomy and physiology a must.
- Clear verbal and written communication skills are required, and strong interpersonal skills a must.
- Ability to demonstrate the practice of sterile technique.
- Strong computer skills.
- Developed verbal and written communication skills are required, and strong interpersonal skills a must.
- A high degree of independent action and exercise of correct judgment, along with creative thinking skills.
- Ability to work under required deadlines and schedules, while being flexible to handle special requests and projects. Ability to handle stressful situations. Ability to provide compassionate patient care. Must be detailed oriented, professional, and must have a positive attitude.
EDUCATION
- High School Diploma/GED Equivalent Required
- Certified Medical Assistant or 2 years college with medically related courses Preferred
EXPERIENCE
- 1 year of Customer Service Required
- 1 years of Patient Registration or related customer service experience in a healthcare environment Preferred
- EPIC Experience Preferred
LICENSE/CERTIFICATION
- Certified Cardiac Pulmonary Resuscitation
