Tech Lead .NET

As a Tech Lead you will be responsible for leading a team of engineers working on key applications and services of the frontend stack used.

Reporting to the Engineering Manager you will be heading the PosAPI team (part of the Frontend Framework domain), who develop and maintain one of the core high-availability and high-traffic web applications (.NET web API) as well as internal developer tools.

What you will do

  • Acts as a first technical contact person for the assigned projects and reports on the progress as required
  • Implements standards for delivery of projects across the team
  • Designs and develops high quality software solutions based on business requirements
  • Defines non-functional requirements and ensures implementation according to it
  • Ensures operational readiness of applications
  • Ensures technical reviews are done and non-functional requirements (NFRs) are considered
  • Discusses, understands and refines business requirements together with business peers
  • Supports and consults business on technical topics
  • Mentors and coaches team members
  • Shares/spreads knowledge within and across teams
  • Drives/supports process improvements
  • Education and active work experience (5+ years) as .NET software engineer
  • Active experience developing and maintaining .NET web services
  • Experienced in AWS hosted applications
  • Experienced in application monitoring and altering
  • Experienced in leading a team of engineers, including recruitment and other people management duties
