You Are:

Technical Account Lead (TAL) who will provide thought leadership in technology strategy, assessments, and delivery. This role is heavily focused on maintaining and building strong team and client relationships. We are seeking a highly motivated engineer who firmly grasps the cloud, software development and DevSecOps industries, along with the needs and expectations of the Federal Government. This role will provide candidates with the opportunity to drive measurable outcomes for our clients, while working with and growing a passionate team of technical professionals. The TAL will drive adoption of AI, cloud technologies and software applications with security in mind.

The Work:

  • Provide technical leadership, thought leadership and strategic guidance across account projects. This includes engaging teams / customers, identifying opportunities for collaboration, and assisting in remediation/risk mitigation strategies.
  • Identify, solution and write to technical opportunities in the account pipeline.
  • Grow and mentor technical staff.
  • Support corporate information technology and security initiatives to ensure program compliance while minimizing impact to client/mission delivery.
  • Actively contribute to and lead technical collaboration engagements across the portfolio (identify opportunities for technology reuse and technical collaboration).
  • Evaluate current projects (cloud infrastructure, software architecture, DevSecOps pipelines, etc) and recommend improvements to security, scalability, and cost; Support the identification, validation, and resolution of vulnerabilities and risks.
  • Represent technical viewpoints to diverse audiences and make timely and prudent technical risk decisions.
  • Identify and develop process improvements and efficiencies.
  • Role requires a high visibility profile, including the need to speak at conferences, interface with executives, and maintain a position of authority.
  • Engage vendor ecosystem partners as needed to ensure latest industry capabilities are identified and leveraged where applicable.

Here's What You Need:

  • Bachelors Degree or 15+ years of industry experience
  • 10+ years Project Management and/or Engagement Management experience in the Federal technology space
  • 5 years of direct experience in cloud delivery, growth and/or solutions
  • Proven ability and demonstrated success in working with teams and executive leadership in a complex, multi-dimensional environment
  • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects and responsibilities concurrently
  • Demonstrated experience architecting, designing, configuring, and managing software solutions within public and private cloud service providers
  • Must demonstrate a high level of expertise in cloud security fundamentals, with a deep level of expertise in the overall cloud security landscape/market, and 3rd party tools
  • Experience supporting business development pursuits including: solutioning, technical writing, reviewing proposals, and shaping opportunities with customers

Preferred Skills & Qualifications:

  • Experience with cloud service providers (Amazon, Azure, Google) and cloud operations; Relevant cloud certifications such as Microsoft Certified Azure Solutions Architect or AWS Cloud Practitioner
  • Experience in managing information security functions, strategy and risk
  • Ability to take ownership, work under pressure and meet deadlines on time while handling multiple priorities navigating challenging situations
  • Strong interpersonal and technical communication (written and oral) skills
  • Ability to both work in a team environment (team player and leader), while also have the ability to work independently with minimal direction; self-starter/self-motivated
  • Proven ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment; Experience adapting existing methods and procedures to create alternative solutions to complex problems

As required by local law, Accenture Federal Services provides reasonable ranges of compensation for hired roles based on labor costs in the states of California, Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Minnesota, New Jersey, New York, Vermont, Virginia, Washington, and the District of Columbia, and the city of Cleveland. The base pay range for this position in these locations is shown below. Compensation for roles at Accenture Federal Services varies depending on a wide array of factors, including but not limited to office location, role, skill set, and level of experience.
