Role:
• Gather and analyse user requirements and translate them into application specifications.
• Design, develop, test, implement, and maintain application systems or web-based applications.
Requirements:
• At least 3 years of experience in application development, programming and systems support.
• Good communication, strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Technical Skills:
Integrated Development Environments (IDEs):
o Eclipse
Programming Language:
o Java
Environments/Systems experience in one or more of the following:
o MS SQL
o Windows
Operating Systems experience in one or more of the following:
o Windows Server
Platforms experience in one or more of the following:
o Amazon Web Services (AWS) - Optional (Good to have)
o Azure - Mandatory
Databases experience in one or more of the following:
o DB2
o MS SQL
Programming Languages & Other Languages experience in one or more of the following:
o Extensible Markup Language (XML)
o Java
o JavaScript
o SQL
Technologies experience in one or more of the following:
o Java technologies
o MS SQL
Tools:
o Terraform
Others
o Proficient in analysing and translating requirements into solutions.
o Good communication and written skills and work well in a team.
o Working experience in COBOL, CICS, DB2. DB2
o Relational Databases like DB2, SQL Server, Oracle.
o IDE such as Eclipse, JDeveloper, NetBeans or equivalent.
Additional skillset:
o Qlik Talend or Any ETL Tool would be added advantage.
