We are currently seeking a <\/span><\/span>Technical Analyst \u2013 User Support Services<\/span><\/span><\/b> to support a major healthcare technology initiative with the Government of Nova Scotia. The successful candidate will provide onsite technical support, device deployment, desktop troubleshooting, and end\-user assistance within healthcare facilities across the Yarmouth region.<\/span>

Key Responsibilities<\/span>
<\/span><\/span><\/h3>
  • Provide onsite and remote technical support to healthcare staff and end users.<\/span>
    <\/span><\/span><\/li>
  • Deploy, configure, and support desktops, laptops, peripherals, printers, and accessories.<\/span>
    <\/span><\/span><\/li>
  • Perform hardware refresh and replacement activities.<\/span>
    <\/span><\/span><\/li>
  • Image, configure, and deploy new devices.<\/span>
    <\/span><\/span><\/li>
  • Install, troubleshoot, and maintain software applications.<\/span>
    <\/span><\/span><\/li>
  • Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network connectivity issues.<\/span>
    <\/span><\/span><\/li>
  • Support workstation relocations and physical equipment installations.<\/span>
    <\/span><\/span><\/li>
  • Assemble and configure Workstations on Wheels (WOW Carts).<\/span>
    <\/span><\/span><\/li>
  • Document support activities, deployments, incidents, and resolutions.<\/span>
    <\/span><\/span><\/li>
  • Collaborate with project teams, vendors, and healthcare stakeholders.<\/span>
    <\/span><\/span><\/li>
  • Assist with technology rollout initiatives and other support\-related tasks.<\/span>
    <\/span><\/span><\/li><\/ul>

    Required Qualifications<\/span>
    <\/span><\/span><\/h3>
    • IT Diploma, Computer Systems Technician Diploma, or equivalent post\-secondary education.<\/span>
      <\/span><\/span><\/li>
    • Experience providing onsite desktop and end\-user technical support.<\/span>
      <\/span><\/span><\/li>
    • Strong customer service and communication skills.<\/span>
      <\/span><\/span><\/li>
    • Experience troubleshooting Windows\-based hardware and software issues.<\/span>
      <\/span><\/span><\/li>
    • Ability to work independently and prioritize multiple tasks.<\/span>
      <\/span><\/span><\/li>
    • Comfortable working in hospital and clinical environments.<\/span>
      <\/span><\/span><\/li>
    • Ability to lift and move computer equipment and workstations.<\/span>
      <\/span><\/span><\/li>
    • Valid Criminal Record Check (RCMP) or ability to obtain one.<\/span>
      <\/span><\/span><\/li><\/ul>
