Technical Asset Manager (m/f/d)

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor and analyse the technical performance of solar PV, BESS and wind energy assets in operation.

  • Track key KPIs (production, availability, performance ratio, battery efficiency, degradation, etc.) and identify deviations.

  • Oversee and verify (together with CAM) compliance and fulfilment with warranties, availability, and material maintenance tasks.

  • Manage technical incidents and propose corrective and preventive actions.

  • Review technical reports and ensure compliance with quality and safety standards.

  • Collaborate with internal teams (Investment, Asset Management, Legal, etc.).

  • Support performance optimization and lifetime extension of PV, BESS and wind assets.

  • Lead the technical handover of renewable energy projects into the Aquila Capital portfolio, ensuring readiness for operations, completeness of documentation, and alignment with contractual and performance requirements.

  • Participate in technical due diligence processes for new investments, including PV, BESS and wind energy projects.

Your Profile

  • Degree in Engineering (Electrical, Industrial, Energy, or related field).

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in the renewable energy sector, preferably in solar PV, BESS and wind (minimum two required).

  • Solid understanding of renewable energy plants operation and maintenance.

  • Experience with data analysis and monitoring tools.

  • Fluency in English and Spanish (both written and spoken) is required. German is a plus.

  • Analytical mindset, attention to detail, and results-oriented approach.

Nice to Have

  • Experience in technical asset management of renewable energy assets.

  • Familiarity with SCADA systems and data analysis tools (advanced Excel, Python, etc.).

  • Experience managing O&M and service contracts.

  • Knowledge of grid integration, storage technologies, and energy market dynamics.

  • Understanding of energy sector regulations and standards.
