Technical Intern (Business Unit Measurement)

Main Responsibilities
The intern will be responsible for supporting the management, organization, and availability of Measurement line demonstration equipment, focusing primarily on analyzers used in physicochemical analyses.

Their main activities will include:

  • Accompanying the demonstration equipment used by the sales team during visits, tests, presentations, and demonstrations to clients.
  • Evaluating the basic performance of the instruments, performing initial functional checks, simple tests, and general condition checks.
  • Checking parts, accessories, cables, consumables, and other items necessary for the correct use of the equipment.
  • Checking the items in the instrument case based on technical checklists, ensuring that no parts or accessories are missing.
  • Organizing the equipment storage area, keeping the instruments, accessories, and cases properly identified and in good condition.
  • Keeping the monitoring, availability, and reservation system for demonstration equipment up-to-date.
  • Assisting the logistics area with the delivery, collection, and movement of instruments.
  • Supporting the preparation of equipment before release for use by the sales team.
  • Install, organize, and test equipment in the company showroom when necessary.
  • Interact with different areas of Anton Paar, including logistics, technical assistance, maintenance, calibration, warranty, and especially the sales team.
  • Support communication between areas to ensure that equipment is available, complete, and in suitable condition for demonstrations.

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Materials Engineering, Production Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Control and Automation Engineering, or related fields.
  • Interest in analytical equipment, instrumentation, laboratory work, quality control, or physicochemical analyses.
  • Basic English for initial reading and comprehension of technical documents, manuals, checklists, and operating instructions.
  • Good communication skills for interaction with different internal areas.
  • Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Availability to handle, move, and organize equipment and accessories, respecting the necessary care for precision instruments.
