Technical Lead

What You Will Do

• Lead and contribute to the full-stack development of the CHAOS platform.

• Oversee technical architecture and optimize system performance.

• Collaborate with data scientists to integrate ML and AI capabilities into product features.

• Collaborate with stakeholders to align technical strategies with business objectives.

• Own the technical roadmap and represent engineering in product and hiring discussions.

• Lead technical Due Diligence and compliance projects.

• Set and maintain engineering standards: code quality, testing, CI/CD, and system design.

• Mentor engineers, grow technical talent, and foster a culture of ownership and curiosity.

• Evaluate and introduce new technologies that strengthen our competitive edge.

• Track platform performance and lead initiatives to improve reliability and scalability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field

• 5+ years of full-stack experience (React/TypeScript on the frontend; Python or Node.js on the backend).

• Experience with Agile methodologies, project management, and cross-functional team leadership

• Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work under deadlines

• Effective communication and collaboration skills, including stakeholder engagement

• Proficiency in software architecture, system design, and scalable application development.

• Solid experience with relational and spatial databases — PostgreSQL/PostGIS in particular.

• Hands-on experience building and scaling data-intensive platforms on GCP or equivalent cloud.

• Comfortable with data pipelines, ETL/ELT workflows, and working alongside data science teams.

• Experience with Git, CI/CD, and delivering in Agile/Scrum environments.

• Working knowledge of ML concepts and integrating AI capabilities into products (a strong plus).
