Technical Lead - Murex Infrastructure

Responsibilities

• Own the infrastructure workstream end-to-end, accountable for delivering stable, scalable, and production-ready Murex environments
• Define and drive infrastructure requirements, architecture, and detailed technical design in partnership with SMEs and Infrastructure teams
• Develop and own environment and infrastructure delivery plans; track dependencies, risks, and milestones
• Challenge requirements and validate feasibility, ensuring build commitments are realistic and deliverable
• Coordinate infrastructure build across compute, storage, network, database, and middleware layers
• Work closely with infrastructure teams to determine schedule and keep track of status, maintain RAID Log Key role needs:
• Provide effective challenge and work with Infrastructure management to keep timelines and milestones
• Prioritize and work on dedicated file storage and work to enhance performance
• Determine performance criteria; expressed in terms of positions to process, no. of books or other metrics relevant to performance
• Proactively identify performance, capacity, and stability risks and drive mitigation plans
• Lead troubleshooting of infrastructure and environment issues; own resolution across teams
• Provide options (good / better / best) for infrastructure solutions and guide stakeholders to decisions
• Convene and lead cross-team forums to align infrastructure delivery with program timelines
• Escalate issues with judgment and maintain clear visibility on delivery risks and constraints
• Own status reporting, stakeholder communication, and overall delivery against schedule

SKILLS

Must have

• 10+ years of experience in infrastructure management
• Working knowledge of Net App NFS and Oracle skills; must understand related areas -storage, networking, databases, Exadata, experience with data center uplifts
• Strong experience owning infrastructure workstreams and delivering complex environments end-to-end
• Deep understanding of infrastructure management and known dependencies
• Strong ability to identify risks, challenge assumptions, and drive resolution across teams
• Experience managing infrastructure performance, capacity planning, and system stability
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive delivery against tight deadlines
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills with focus on outcome-driven delivery
