Technical Marketing Manager, AppSec, Research and AI Security
You will run marketing execution for AppSec, AI/ML Security, and Research & Engineering. You will turn security research and tool releases into blog posts, case studies, social campaigns, and event presence. You will brief speakers, manage co-marketing and demand-generation campaigns, build dashboards, track attribution, and report performance.
Responsibilities
- Track engineering output, tool releases, research papers, and talks and ensure each gets coverage
- Create case studies, briefs, blog drafts, and marketing assets for technical and business audiences
- Partner with Technical Editing on content pipelines and provide writing capacity when needed
- Own the content calendar and coordinate publishing schedules across practices
- Manage social media across X, LinkedIn, and Bluesky and grow audience engagement
- Manage event presence including pre-event promotion, on-site coordination, and post-event follow-up
- Brief and prep engineers and leadership for external appearances
- Plan and run multi-channel demand generation campaigns that drive pipeline
- Collect and package customer proof points, testimonials, and client logos
- Provide sales enablement collateral, competitive intelligence, and prospect research
- Build dashboards, track performance, and create regular reporting cadences
- Own marketing attribution and connect campaign activity to sourced and influenced pipeline
- Gather market intelligence through customer conversations and competitor monitoring
Requirements
- Marketing experience in AppSec, AI/ML Security, or Research and Engineering
- Active public presence in security communities (X, LinkedIn, or Bluesky)
- Technical writing experience for security audiences including research writeups and tool documentation
- Demand generation experience at a security or developer tools company with measurable pipeline outcomes
- Experience running social media as a primary channel in security or developer communities
- Technical fluency with GitHub, Markdown, and developer-adjacent tools
- Experience setting up marketing dashboards and reporting cadences that connect activity to pipeline
- Hands-on experience with HubSpot or similar marketing automation in a B2B security or devtools context
- Experience using AI tools to accelerate security content production and campaign execution
- Experience with marketing reporting for security pipeline
