Technical Migration Expert - AS400

This is a remote position.

We are seeking aTechnical Migration Expertto lead and execute the migration from anAS400 legacy platform to Zoho ERP for our client.

Duration: Estimated at 2 months (open to part-time)

Location: Remote

The focus of this role is ensuring a smooth transition of business processes and financial data across Zoho’s ERP ecosystem, includingCRM, CPQ, Zoho Books, Field Service, and Inventory Managementmodules. The successful candidate will be responsible for analyzing legacy system structures, designing migration strategies, executing data transformations, and ensuring business continuity during and after the cut over.

Responsibilities:
Migration Planning & StrategyAssess AS400 system architecture, data structures, and dependencies.Develop and document a comprehensive migration roadmap to Zoho ERP.Define data mapping, cleansing, validation, and reconciliation approaches.
ERP Module Implementation & IntegrationLead technical configuration and deployment ofZoho CRM, CPQ, Zoho Books, Field Service, and Inventory Management.Collaborate with functional leads to align financial and operational requirements with Zoho ERP capabilities.
Data Migration & FinancialsExecute the migration offinancials and other critical recordsfrom AS400 to Zoho Books.Perform ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) operations with proper validation and testing.Reconcile migrated data against legacy reports to confirm accuracy and completeness.
Testing & Quality AssuranceDevelop and execute test scripts for functional, integration, and user acceptance testing (UAT).Troubleshoot migration issues, resolve defects, and document solutions.Ensure compliance with security, audit, and data governance requirements.

Requirements

8+ years of experiencein ERP migration, system integration, or enterprise applications.Proven hands-on experience migrating fromAS400 or similar legacy systemsto modern ERP solutions.Strong knowledge ofZoho ecosystem(CRM, CPQ, Zoho Books, Field Service, Inventory).Experience withdata migration tools, ETL processes, and API integrations.Familiarity with financial and accounting processes to ensure accuracy in Zoho Books migration.Strong problem-solving skills with ability to address complex technical challenges under tight timelines.Excellent communication skills to collaborate with technical and business stakeholders.
