Technical Program Manager, Product Quality and Reliability

A problem isn’t truly solved until it’s solved for all. That’s why Googlers build products that help create opportunities for everyone, whether down the street or across the globe. As a Technical Program Manager at Google, you’ll use your technical expertise to lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish. You’ll work with stakeholders to plan requirements, identify risks, manage project schedules, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. You're equally comfortable explaining your team's analyses and recommendations to executives as you are discussing the technical tradeoffs in product development with engineers.

As a Technical Program Manager for Product Quality and Reliability, you will balance strategic engineering governance with direct quality execution across a complex artificial intelligence, machine learning, and global hardware infrastructure portfolio. In this role, you will define and manage program portfolios, establish a rigorous governance structure, and lead key partner communications to streamline executive decision-making and ensure optimal resource stewardship. By implementing predictable review cadences, you will expose and mitigate critical program dependencies while identifying change management opportunities that maximize cross-functional program velocity across multiple global teams.

On the technical execution side, you will partner closely with global server operations, hardware and software engineering, supply chain, and data center teams to program manage end-to-end quality for New Product Introductions. You will lead data analysis efforts to track quality trends, proactively identify reliability escapes, and drive in-depth search root-cause investigations. Through executing robust corrective and preventive actions, you will directly influence continuous improvement initiatives and deliver high-quality hardware that enables sustainable organizational growth.
