About the role:

We have an exciting opportunity for a skilled Technical Project Manager to join our IT Services support team to primarily support the Fundraising department as part of the Digital Fundraising Team, and other shared Technology initiatives.

Please note that this role is a 12-month fixed-term contract with an opportunity to extend.

Required skills:

  • 3+ years' experience working in complex outsourced environments
  • Proven experience in documenting and executing test scenarios, and meeting deliverables in data focused environments
  • Experience with data transformation, CRM audit and/or CRM change
  • Experience with project management of front-end digital product/software development. Strong communication skills and ability to facilitate solutions with internal and external teams with independent models of working.
  • Strong experience in complex environments managing all elements of the Project lifecycle
  • Experience conducting process mapping exercises and business process optimisation
  • Highly independent, with the ability to work constructively with teams and senior management.
  • Managing estimates, schedules, and work plans
  • Ability to drive consensus among diverse business stakeholders at various levels of the organisation and proven attention to detail and accuracy
  • Experience liaising with QA teams.

Desirable skills:

  • Agile project experience and knowledge of Jira and Confluence will be highly regarded
  • Experience with business analysis
  • Experience with change management and liaising with business change management practices
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in Information Technology / computing
  • Previous experience in the Not-for-Profit fundraising space and/or Intensive Campaign exposure is highly desirable.
  • Previous experience with Power BI

Responsibilities include:

  • Primarily project manage the delivery of the Fundraising CRM Transformation known as Project360 (or “P360”)
  • Assist with occasional Technology improvement mini projects for various campaigns
  • Liaise between the technical team members (including vendors and partners) and the Fundraising team stakeholders to agree on user requirement, scope and delivery
  • Strategic planning of technical projects including tracking and managing project timelines
  • Define project scope in collaboration with key stakeholders
  • Work with stakeholders to estimate and prepare project costs and ongoing budget management
  • Manage the end-to-end delivery and day-to-day operational aspects of Fundraising projects
  • Plan and track testing and implementation activities with the relevant teams
  • Manage technical change activities with the organisational change management team
  • Vendor management including support with negotiations, monitoring deliverables, service coordination and maintaining strong relationships
  • Assist in the gathering of requirements from business stakeholders, internal and external clients
  • Contribute to the design of solutions that align with the overall data architecture for the business
  • Create test scenarios and lead the testing and reconciliation of data/processes for signoff by stakeholders
  • Deliver solutions that ensure projects are delivered on-time, on-budget and to CPA quality standards
