We are looking for a reliable, structured, and proactive Technical Project Manager to lead the end-to-end delivery of our client's product (Web & Mobile App), and an exciting new project currently in its kickoff phase.

In this role, you will bridge the gap between business strategy and engineering execution. You will manage a high-performing cross-functional team of engineers, Designers, and QA, taking full ownership of project planning, scope definition, risk mitigation, and execution using Jira.

Key Responsibilities

1. Planning & Scope Definition

  • Communication Strategy: Establish and execute a robust communication plan.
  • Requirement Translation: Review, digest, and deeply understand business documents validated by stakeholders to ensure technical alignment.
  • WBS Creation: Build deliverable-oriented Work Breakdown Structures (WBS) and map out granular tasks based on functional and non-functional system requirements.
  • Resource & Budgeting: Develop project schedules, define resource requirements, and map out budgets based on engineering man-hour estimations.
  • Risk Management: Proactively identify technical and operational risks before development begins; design comprehensive assessment and mitigation plans.

2. Execution & Delivery Management

  • Progress Tracking: Run regular follow-ups and daily standups on ongoing development, utilizing Jira as the single source of truth for task management.
  • Variance Analysis: Track progress data to conduct variance analyses, maintain an accurate issue log, and handle timely escalations when roadblocks occur.
  • Problem Solving: When issues arise, explore viable technical/operational solutions, generate impact reports, and secure stakeholder approval while keeping delivery timelines intact.
  • Change Control: Manage scope creep. Revise project plans in unavoidable situations only after securing stakeholder buy-in, and clearly cascade changes to the engineering team.
  • Stakeholder Reporting: Structure and deliver clear weekly/bi-weekly progress reports to keep business stakeholders aligned and informed.
  • Experience: 4+ years of experience as a Project Manager, Delivery Lead, or Scrum Master managing web and mobile app products.
  • Team Leadership: Proven track record of managing cross-functional teams of members in an agile environment.
  • Tools: Expert-level proficiency with Jira and Confluence for task tracking, sprint planning, and reporting.
  • Technical Literacy: Ability to understand system requirements analysis (both functional and non-functional) and comfortably discuss technical complexities with engineers.
  • Methodology: Strong grasp of creating deliverable-oriented WBS, man-hour estimation frameworks, and risk mitigation strategies.
  • Communication: Exceptional stakeholder management skills with the ability to explain technical blockers in clear business terms.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in the Energy, Green-Tech, or Infrastructure sector is a plus point.
  • Experience taking a project completely from "kickoff/concept phase" to successful market launch.
  • PMP, PRINCE2, or Certified Scrum Master (CSM) certifications.

Working days: Sunday to Thursday. 5 days/week.
Working hours: 9:00 am - 6:00 pm (BDST).
