Technical Sales Engineer (Semiconductor BEOL machines)

The Technical Sales Engineer is responsible for supporting business and product sales by delivering technical solutions, conducting customer evaluations, and providing both pre- and Post-Sales support for Die AOI (Die Sorter) systems. This role bridges customer requirements with internal engineering teams to drive business growth and product development.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide pre- and post-sales technical support to customers for Die AOI / Die Sorter solutions
  • Technical support of field service engineers and customers when required
  • Prepare and deliver technical specification, presentations, proposals, and customized solutions to customers.
  • Conduct market research on industry trends, competitor products, and emerging technologies related to Die AOI and advanced packaging
  • Prepare and maintain competitive analysis between internal products and competitor solutions
  • Support marketing team for product launches, including preparation of videos, brochures, and demo materials.

Requirements:

  • Degree / Diploma in Engineering (Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, Mechatronics, or related discipline)
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in semiconductor equipment or Die Sorter systems. (Die Sorter or Wafer Sorter will be preferred.)
  • Ability to manage customer expectations, negotiations, and issue resolution while effectively coordinating across multiple stakeholders (customers, sales, R&D, and application teams)
  • Good analytical skill
  • Availability to travel for customer visits, events, or proposal-related activities.
  • Proficient in English and Chinese, both written and verbal communication
  • Proficient in Microsoft application
  • Good analytical skill
