Technical Specialist

Inventory & Logistics

• Receive, inspect, and tag incoming IT equipment (servers, drives, switches, etc.)
• Track inventory using our warehouse management system
• Support audits and coordinate shipments with the logistics team

Data Sanitization & Testing

• Test decommissioned equipment for functionality
• Securely wipe data using approved tools and industry standards (NIST 800-88, DoD 5220.22-M)
• Keep accurate logs of all data destruction for compliance

Refurbishment & Recycling

• Dismantle non-working equipment and salvage reusable parts
• Clean, reassemble, and upgrade components for resale/reuse
• Sort and route non-reusable materials to certified e-waste recycling

Documentation & Compliance

• Maintain accurate records across receiving, processing, and dispatch
• Support internal/external audits
• Follow SOPs and relevant data privacy standards (e.g., GDPR)

Health & Safety

• Follow safety protocols and wear PPE as required
• Maintain a clean, hazard-free workspace
• Report safety or security concerns promptly
