Technical Writer
The Role<\/span><\/span><\/b><\/span><\/span> As a Technical Writer at KODE Labs, you make complex product capabilities clear and usable. You create user\-facing documentation and in\u2011product language that help customers configure, and succeed without hand\u2011holding. You will partner with Product, Engineering, Design, CX/Support, and Product Marketing to launch features and keep content current.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span> <\/span><\/span>What You\u2019ll Do<\/span><\/span><\/b><\/span><\/span> Write concepts, how\u2011tos, tutorials, and integration guides with clear prerequisites and expected outcomes.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span> Design structure, navigation, naming, and search so answers are easy to find.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span> Maintain the style guide, glossary, and media standards. Ensure accessibility in content and visuals.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span> Create doc plans at QA start. Draft, review, and publish in step with PM and GTM.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span> Manage branching, reviews, versioning, and CI checks. Improve the toolchain as we scale.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span> Confirm data shapes, limits, flags, edge cases, and final UI states before publishing.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span> Translate recurring tickets and escalations into self\u2011serve guides and known\u2011issues pages.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span> Link campaigns and release moments to task\u2011based guides that deliver value in KODE OS.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span> Track search success, helpfulness, time\u2011to\u2011answer, and ticket deflection. Prioritize fixes and improvements.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span> Publish breaking\u2011change notices and upgrade guides. Coordinate timelines and customer communication<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span> Partner with Product, Engineering, and Design to align on jobs\-to\-be\-done, validate edge cases, and ensure accurate, consistent documentation and visuals.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span> Collaborate with CX/Support to identify recurring issues and publish fix\-forward, self\-serve content.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span> Work with Product Marketing to connect release messaging to practical, task\-based guides.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span> Maintain a single, reliable source of truth across documentation, release notes, and the glossary.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span> Communicate risks early and escalate when scope, timing, or customer impact are unclear.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span> 3+ years writing software documentation for SaaS or developer\u2011facing products.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span> Strong information architecture skills and a clean, concise writing style.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span> Experience with docs\u2011as\u2011code workflows (Git, PR reviews, CI).<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span> Ability to read UI and API changes and translate them into accurate guidance.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span> Comfortable partnering with PM, Engineering, Design, CX/Support, and PMM.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span> Familiar with accessibility, media standards, and basic analytics for docs.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span> Experience with Mintlify (or similar), Jira, Figma, and Slack is a plus<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span> Localization experience and a practical approach to versioning and flags is a plus<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span> Background in integrations, APIs, or data\u2011heavy platforms; familiarity with IoT/proptech is a plus.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span> Shape the product experience:<\/span><\/span><\/b><\/span><\/span> Your work defines how customers understand and succeed with KODE OS \u2014 from setup to advanced integrations.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span> Own your craft:<\/span><\/span><\/b><\/span><\/span> You\u2019ll have full authorship over structure, standards, and tooling, influencing how documentation scales across teams and releases.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span> Grow with scale:<\/span><\/span><\/b><\/span><\/span> As KODE expands globally, so will your impact \u2014 from improving docs\-as\-code workflows to shaping our developer experience strategy.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
