Technical Writer

  • Create and maintain technical documentation, including user guides, instructional manuals, release notes, and FAQs.
  • Translate complex infrastructure and platform concepts into clear, user-friendly content.
  • Support customer-facing documentation such as user guides and knowledge base articles.
  • Maintain and enhance documentation repositories, including Confluence and Git-based platforms.
  • Ensure consistent standards, templates, and formatting across all documentation.
  • Keep documentation up to date with evolving systems, ensuring accuracy and usability.
  • Work independently to research, develop, and complete assigned documentation projects.
  • Minimum 3+ years of relevant experience
  • Strong ability to understand, interpret, and clearly explain technical systems.
  • Experience working with product release cycles and collaborating with Product and Engineering teams.
  • Excellent written communication skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with documentation authoring tools such as RoboHelp, Help & Doc, or similar.
  • Working knowledge of GitHub workflows, Confluence, Jira, or equivalent tools.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Proficiency in Markdown and HTML.

Preferred / Good to Have

  • Exposure to manufacturing platforms, cable industry, or infrastructure-related domains.
  • Experience working with Oxygen XML Editor or similar tools.

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Technical Communication, Computer Science, or equivalent professional experience.
