Technician - Field Service
As this is a Electrical Role you must hold a Valid and Current Electrical License. In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:
Working on generator sets and engine control panels, scheduled and unscheduled service works

Troubleshooting and diagnostics on engines/generators up to 3350KVA

Modifying wiring looms/diagrams

Commissioning of new generators/systems, transfer switches and master controllers

Working closely with the Mechanical Service team

Completing all work with a high focus on safety

Participate in an After Hours on call roster
To be successful in this role you will need the following:
Apprentice Trained Power Generation/ Electrical Technician is a MUST
Valid Drivers Licence.
Diploma/Certificate from relevant technical institution.
Current relevant electrical certification / tickets is a MUST
Basic level knowledge of and/or experience with power generation products.
High Voltage / Low Voltage Experience preferred.
Additional Information:
40 hours per week
On call roster when required
Able to work long hours including overtime when required
Up to 50% domestic travel as required
Basic level field service work experience
Intermediate level knowledge of and/or experience with of power generation products
High Voltage/ Low Voltage experience
Customer service experience
Must have basic understanding of diesel engine operations and principles.
Must be able to assist mechanical technicians on engine services when required.
Must be able to do odd jobs outside of his job description.
You will need a locally valid driving permit
Under limited supervision, the individual contributor diagnoses, completes preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and moderately complex repairs to engines at the customer’s site. They follow established procedures and guidelines to develop field service knowledge and skills.
Projects a positive company image by interacting with fellow employees, customers, and management in a cooperative, supportive, and courteous manner; displays an attitude of professionalism. Proactively communicates with customers and collects their feedback to anticipate and ensure prompt and efficient attention to customer needs. Applies documented Standard Repair Times (SRTs) and follows applicable processes, procedures, and policies to diagnose and complete moderately complex repairs and schedule engine maintenance, including preparing required parts and tools.
