Technician - Field Service

We are looking for a talented Field Service Mechanic to join our high performing field service team. The Gunnedah Basin mining region is home to over 170 Cummins High Horsepower engines, powering a range of mining equipment.

This is a 7/7 Roster, for either someone local to Tamworth, or a Drive in, drive out opportunity can be available.

In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:

• Perform breakdown and preventative tasks

• Diverse range engine repairs, both major and minor
• Working autonomously as well as having the ability to work in a great team environment
• Work with other major OEM’s – Komatsu, Hitachi, Liebherr

To be successful in this role you will need the following:

• Relevant trade qualification (Heavy Commercial Vehicle/Heavy Diesel, Plant, or Light Vehicle also considered)

• A valid driver’s license

• Experience as a Diesel Mechanic in the service and maintenance of heavy diesel products, mining equipment, engines and similar applications is preferred
