Role Summary
<\/div>

<\/div>
The Level 1 Install Technician is an entry\-level position on the commercial installation team responsible for supporting the physical installation of audiovisual systems under the direction of Lead Technicians and Project Managers. This role focuses on cable infrastructure, device mounting, equipment rack assembly, and system trim\-out in accordance with AVIXA/InfoComm installation standards and Logic Integration quality standards.

Core Responsibilities
<\/div>

<\/div>
Cable Infrastructure & Termination
<\/div>
\u2022 Pull, route, and support low\-voltage cabling (Cat6/6A, coax, fiber, speaker, control) per AVIXA/InfoComm cable management standards
<\/div>
\u2022 Terminate connectors including RJ45, RJ11, BNC, XLR, SpeakON, Phoenix, RCA, HDMI, and fiber (SC/LC) per manufacturer specifications
<\/div>
\u2022 Tone, test, and certify cabling using appropriate test equipment (cable testers, multimeters, tone generators)
<\/div>
\u2022 Label all cabling and pathways per project documentation and Logic Integration labeling standards
<\/div>
\u2022 Maintain proper cable separation, bend radius, and support intervals per ANSI/TIA and AVIXA standards
<\/div>

Equipment Installation & Mounting
<\/div>
\u2022 Install and mount AV equipment including displays, projectors, speakers, cameras, microphones, and control devices
<\/div>
\u2022 Assemble and wire equipment racks including rack rails, shelves, rear lacing bars, and power distribution
<\/div>
\u2022 Trim out in\-wall and in\-ceiling devices (speakers, faceplates, data ports) ensuring level, plumb, and aligned installation using laser levels
<\/div>
\u2022 Support installation of videoconference systems, digital signage, and collaboration technology
<\/div>

Job Site Operations
<\/div>
\u2022 Read and interpret AV drawings, floor plans, rack elevations, and signal flow diagrams
<\/div>
\u2022 Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment at all times
<\/div>
\u2022 Comply with all job site safety requirements including PPE, OSHA standards, and client\-specific safety protocols
<\/div>
\u2022 Coordinate daily with Lead Technician and Project Manager on task priorities and project status
<\/div>
\u2022 Track and report time accurately using company time\-tracking systems
<\/div>
\u2022 Maintain company vehicle cleanliness \u2013 daily trash removal, weekly deep clean
<\/div>
\u2022 Complete punch\-list items in a timely and thorough manner
<\/div>

\u2022 Take direction from Lead Technicians and Project Managers; ask questions when unclear

\u2022 Assist other technicians with installations, material handling, and equipment staging
<\/div>
\u2022 Communicate professionally with clients, general contractors, and other trades on\-site

\u2022 Demonstrate urgency, accountability, and pride in quality of work

\u2022 Valid driver's license with clean driving record

\u2022 Ability to pass background check and drug screening

\u2022 Must provide standard hand tools per Logic Integration tool list
<\/div>
\u2022 Ability to safely lift 80 lbs regularly and work on ladders, lifts, scaffolding, and in confined spaces (crawl spaces, equipment closets, above\-ceiling)

Preferred Qualifications
<\/div>
\u2022 1+ year experience in low\-voltage installation, AV, IT, electrical, or construction trades
<\/div>
\u2022 Familiarity with AV systems and signal flow concepts
<\/div>
\u2022 Experience with structured cabling and termination techniques
<\/div>
\u2022 AVIXA CTS certification or willingness to pursue within 18 months
<\/div>
\u2022 OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification
<\/div>
\u2022 Manufacturer training (Crestron, QSC, Biamp, Shure, etc.) a plus
