Technician Supervisor
Job Scope:
- Participate in the installation, operation, inspection, maintenance, and repair of electrical, mechanical, plumbing, telecommunications, CCTV, and other building systems and equipment.
- Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance works for building facilities, guestrooms, offices, and common areas.
- Install, inspect, maintain, replace, and repair mechanical equipment including kitchen equipment, laundry equipment, ventilation systems, fresh air and exhaust systems, trolleys, rubbish bins, wheels, and other fittings.
- Clean, lubricate, protect and maintain all tools and equipment in the service apartments.
- Perform troubleshooting and implement effective resolutions for equipment faults and system breakdowns.
- Monitor and maintain Fire Alarm and Life Safety Systems, ensuring proper operation and immediate response during emergencies.
- Schedule and oversee regular inspections and contract service to ensure the working conditions of all equipment.
- Supervise contractors and vendors on maintenance works, safety compliance, and work performance.
- Ensure compliance with workplace safety policies, procedures, and statutory regulations.
- Observe and report any defective equipment, switchgears, or wiring and carry out rectification works promptly.
- Maintain all tools and equipment in good working condition through cleaning, lubrication, and proper handling.
- Respond promptly and professionally to guest maintenance requests and operational issues.
- Support ad-hoc projects and perform other duties assigned by Management from time to time.
Job Requirements:
- NITEC/Higher NITEC/Diploma in Electrical, Mechanical, Building Services or Related Discipline
- Min 3-5 years of relevant experience in building maintenance, preferably in Hotels, Serviced Apartments, or hospitality settings.
- Hands-on experience in electrical, plumbing, air-conditioning, and general building maintenance.
- Familiar with preventive maintenance schedules and basic troubleshooting of M&E systems.
- Able to respond to maintenance requests and breakdowns promptly, including after-hours or standby duties.
- Basic knowledge of safety regulations and workplace safety practices.
- Good communication skills with ability to interact professionally with guests and internal teams.
- Self-motivated, responsible, and able to work independently with minimal supervision
