Technician (The Mora Singapore)

Job Summary

Perform routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and repairs for hotel facilities and equipment to ensure safety, functionality, and compliance with hotel standards.

Responsibilities

  • Inspect hotel facilities and equipment regularly to identify maintenance needs and prevent breakdowns.
  • Perform preventive maintenance and repair works on electrical, plumbing, air-conditioning, mechanical, and carpentry systems.
  • Troubleshoot issues in guest rooms, public areas, restaurants, offices, and back-of-house areas to restore functionality promptly.
  • Ensure HVAC, lighting, water supply, fire protection, and electrical systems operate efficiently and safely.
  • Repair or replace faulty equipment and fixtures to maintain hotel standards.
  • Complete all maintenance tasks following safety regulations and hotel policies.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, service reports, and equipment readings for tracking and compliance.
  • Support hotel energy conservation and sustainability initiatives by implementing efficient maintenance practices.
  • Coordinate with external contractors and vendors to facilitate specialized repairs or services.

Required competencies and certifications

  • Minimum 1-2 years of experience in maintenance or engineering roles.
  • Minimum NITEC or Higher NITEC qualification.
