Technician (West / 5.5 days / Forklift) [EL]

• Operate heavy equipment including forklifts and reach trucks within the container yard
• Perform routine inspections, basic maintenance, and minor repairs on equipment and machinery
• Troubleshoot mechanical or technical issues and escalate major faults to supervisors or engineers
• Coordinate with team members regarding container shifting locations
• Conduct pre-operation safety checks on reach stackers and other machinery
• Comply with workplace safety policies and operational procedures
• Ensure empty and laden containers are placed in the correct and safe locations
• Assist with container shifting activities within the depot when required
• Carry out any other duties assigned by supervisors or management
