Technology Architect
Position Summary - Murray Hill, NJ
• Design IT infrastructure solutions.
• Build technical competency and capability in the assigned technology domain.
II. Key Result Areas
• Recommend optimal technology solutions to the client using knowledge of technology and tools.
• Build technology capability within the vertical and around a particular area / tool within the project.
• Ensure adherence to set quality standards of technical artefacts such as design documents.
• Define LPSEG definitions, assessments and enablement for respective technologies
• Drive BiC initiatives relevant to CoEs
Typical Responsibilities
Business / Customer
• Create specific technology road maps for IT IS.
• Respond to the technical sections of RFPs.
• Manage delivery of technical design/proposal preparation, Support Service Management processes, tools and disciplines
• Create white papers, case maps.
• Interface with and build industry community network to retain technology competitiveness.
• Work with the client team to address escalations.
• Act as a “Technology Evangelist”: evaluate emerging technologies and create pilots.
• Work with technology partners on PoCs, competency building and new solutions.
• Collaborate with product management team in productization of services.
• Actively participate/Support in Due Diligence and transitions
• Participate/Support Client visits
• Participate actively in CSI initiatives
Project / Process
• Provide solution strategies for upgrades, migration, consolidation, virtualization, technology refresh and other infrastructure changes.
• Provide technical consultancy to projects.
• Conduct technical assessments across projects and recommend service transformations
• Review and recommend Infrastructure Management processes, to ensure high quality delivery.
• Build awareness of industry trends and evaluate applicability to project and vertical.
• Conduct Proof of Concept activities when necessary.
• Consult on architectural aspects of the project.
• Participate in Consulting & Professional Services Engagements as required
Work with Academy in sustaining competency definitions, assessments and enablement’s
People / Team
• Mentor new entrants into the TCP as well as developers who show inclination towards technology.
• Provide guidance to community members on relevant technology area.
• Baseline the team skill set with respect to project skill set in the initial stages of the project.
• Participate in recruitment.
III. Degree of Independence/Supervision required
• Requires minimal supervision on the job.
• Independently works with technology requirements when designing and implementing a solution.
• Independent Decision Areas: Troubleshooting and fixing technology issues.

V. Desired Qualification:
- Education: Bachelor’s/ Diploma/ Engineering/ Master in Computer Application
- Typical Work Experience required: 8 - 10 years
