Primary job duty is to sell technology software products and related services in a defined territory. Identifies, qualifies and closes new opportunities. Manages accounts including the entire sales process from business development prospecting and specifications through contract negotiations, signing, and post-sales support. Leverages the Oracle sales model to maximize revenue growth and increase local market share. Builds and expands business partner revenue and self sufficiency.

  • Identify and target new business opportunities for Oracle Data platform Cloud and license solutions across multiple industries to ensure coverage of the assigned territory.

    • Develop and execute outbound strategies to generate leads through customer engagement, networking, attending events, and leveraging digital channels.

    • Qualify and prioritize leads to engage the most promising prospects for Oracle Data platform solutions.

    • Create and continuously update account management plans within the defined territory.

  • Engage with business and technical decision-makers, using a consultative sales approach to understand their needs, challenges, and requirements regarding data platform management.

    • Provide tailored solutions by promoting Oracle’s suite of data platform cloud solutions (e.g., Oracle Autonomous Database, Oracle Exadata Cloud) and on-premises database licenses.

    • Demonstrate how Oracle's data platform cloud and license solutions can address specific customer pain points, such as scalability, performance, security, and cost optimization.
