Temp Admin (Fixed Assets Sighting)

This is a 3 month contract role to support fixed asset sighting exercise by performingend-to-end physical verification and reconciliation of company assets.

1. Asset Verification & Sighting

· Conduct physical sighting of assigned fixed assets across designated locations.

· Verify asset existence, condition, and tag information against the fixed assetregister.

· Scan or record asset tag numbers, serial numbers, and descriptions accurately.

· Identify missing, damaged, obsolete, or untagged assets.

2. Asset Tagging & Labelling

· Affix new asset tags where missing or illegible.

· Replace damaged or outdated asset labels.

· Ensure consistent tagging standards are applied.

3. Data Recording & Documentation

· Update sighting results in prescribed templates/system (e.g. Excel tracker orSAP).

· Capture discrepancies such as:

o Location mismatches

o Asset description inconsistencies

o Unrecorded assets found onsite

· Maintain proper documentation and audit trail for all findings.

4. Reconciliation & Reporting Support

· Assist in preliminary reconciliation between physical count and asset register.

· Highlight exceptions and escalate discrepancies to the team.

· Support preparation of summary reports on progress, discrepancies, andcompletion status.

5. Coordination & Communication

· Liaise with custodian to arrange access to assets.

· Coordinate with internal stakeholders to resolve access or identificationissues.

· Report daily/weekly progress to supervisor.

6. Compliance & Controls

· Follow internal policies, audit requirements, and asset verificationprocedures.

· Ensure confidentiality and proper handling of company assets and records.

· Adhere to workplace safety requirements when performing site visits.

ExpectedOutput & Targets

· Complete physical verification of approximately 4,300 assets within 3months as per asset sighting plan.

· Maintain accuracy, completeness, and timely reporting of all verificationactivities.

· Achieve agreed productivity targets (e.g., daily/weekly asset counts asassigned).

JobRequirements:

  • Some working experience required in a computerized environment but not a must.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel and Word).
