We are currently looking for a dedicated, adaptable and detail-oriented temporary team member to join our EMEA Commercial Contracts Team in Barcelona and support the administration, migration and implementation of customer and partner contracts related to an M&A integration initiative.

As a Contracts Specialist, you will prepare contractual documentation using predefined templates, review and organize contract-related information, and ensure accurate implementation in Agilent’s systems, including SAP and our Contract Lifecycle Management tool. The role will work closely with the Commercial Contracts M&A project team and other cross-functional stakeholders to support the onboarding and integration activities of an acquired company.

Main Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the Commercial Contracts M&A project team to create, validate and implement contracts accurately and on time.
  • Prepare contract documentation based on approved templates and ensure consistency with agreed contract language and project instructions.
  • Support post-contracting activities, including signature coordination, contract assignment, system entry and data maintenance in SAP and Contract Lifecycle Management tools.
  • Maintain accurate and complete contract records, ensuring that contract metadata, status updates and supporting documentation are properly captured.
  • Create and update reports using available tools, including Excel, SAP/HANA, Spotfire and the Contract Lifecycle Management platform.
  • Track project actions, communications and dependencies to support timely execution of integration activities.

Possible Participation In Projects

  • Contract data migration, cleansing and validation.
  • Testing of contract processes, workflows and system updates in SAP and the current Contract Lifecycle Management tool, where applicable.
  • Preparation of routing data analysis, exception tracking and project reporting.
  • Support for process documentation, user instructions and lessons learned during the integration project.

Qualifications

An eye for detail, accuracy, strong organizational skills and the ability to manage priorities in a project environment are required. The successful candidate will be proactive, adaptable, collaborative and comfortable working through ambiguity while learning new processes, tools and contract requirements.

The role requires the ability to understand and work with contract terminology, follow predefined contract language and escalate questions where needed. Strong technical skills are also important, particularly in Excel and enterprise tools such as SAP, Contract Lifecycle Management tools (Ironclad), HANA and Spotfire. Experience working with structured data, reports, system workflows or contract repositories would be an advantage.

Fluent written and spoken English is required. Additional European languages would be an advantage.
