Temporary Coordinator, Planned Giving

Brandeis University seeks to hire a temporary Coordinator to provide administrative support for planned giving.

This is a short term, temporary position through the end of June.

Pay rate is $29/hour

Will assist in areas such as:

  • Administration, Information Strategy, and Data Management
  • Supporting Planned Giving Marketing Efforts
  • Stewardship and Donor Relations


Requirements, skills needed, and Additional Information:

  • HS/GED required. Bachelor’s degree preferred plus 1-3 years related work experience
  • Must demonstrate advanced skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint on IBM compatible systems, as well as Google Suite (Gmail, Google docs, sheets, forms, drive etc.). Must be able to quickly master specialized programs, such as the Advancement CRM database (Salesforce/Ascend), and other fundraising software tools. Must have mastery of office technology (computers, phones, audio/video conferencing systems, etc.) to be able to work efficiently and troubleshoot when problems arise.
  • Superior interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills with an ability to successfully interact with varied constituencies in a professional manner.
  • Presents a collegial, collaborative, and customer-service demeanor that positively reflects the core values and standards of the institution.
  • Ability to apply good judgment, tact and discretion when dealing with highly confidential alumni, parent, student, family, donor and prospect information and personal interactions with same.
  • Must be a detail-oriented, self-starter with an ability to work independently, prioritize and organize tasks, and manage multiple projects and priorities to meet timelines and deadlines.
