Temporary Quality Controller

Job Summary

Tetra Pak is currently looking for a Quality Controller (In-Line Quality Control) at the production plant of “Tetra Pak Closures Italy S.r.l.” located in Sezzadio (AL), Italy.
The position is classified contractually as a “blue-collar worker” and requires availability to work three daily shifts on a continuous cycle.

What you will do

The Quality Controller (In-Line Quality Control) is required to operate by applying the WCM (World Class Manufacturing) methodology, complying with quality parameters and following the principles of autonomous maintenance and quality maintenance.
Therefore, your main responsibilities will include:
• Complying with safety rules and procedures
• Performing quality tests at the established frequency, following the Control Plan
• Applying the defined Test Methods
• Carrying out, based on instructions (such as reference drawings and control procedures), visual inspections or measurements of the characteristics of work-in-progress parts and finished products, according to the frequencies set by the control plans, in order to identify any defects
• Checking the product using measuring instruments according to the frequencies defined in the control documents
• Visually inspecting caps or semi-finished products according to the frequencies defined in the control documents
• Recording inspections and significant process events, as well as product identification
• Collecting the necessary statistical data
• Ensuring that production complies with specifications
• Carrying out traceability activities in case of defective material
• Providing a clear description of issues and reporting anomalies to enable effective analysis
• Performing quality and/or food safety tours
• Participating in line start-up in collaboration with the Shift Supervisor and Technician, giving approval for product changeover
• Programming the camera for vision control
• Performing manual sorting of caps or semi-finished products

We believe you have

The Quality Controller (In-Line Quality Control) is preferably a graduate in technical subjects with experience in production and basic knowledge of the WCM methodology, particularly AM (Autonomous Maintenance) and/or QM (Quality Maintenance).
Knowledge of the Italian language is a mandatory requirement.
Training as a deputy CQL is considered an advantage.
Basic knowledge of the English language is considered a plus.
