Territory Manager

Role and Responsibilities:

Travel a territory of Cleveland and south into Columbus making on-site customer visits to current and prospective customers in B2B setting.

Essential Duties:

  • Work 5 days in the field each week supported by office time as needed for call planning, customer follow-up, making appointments, call preparation, report generation, etc.
  • Responsible for managing sales volume with existing customers while emphasizing volume growth and profitability of territory through new customers.
  • Creatively problem solve customers’ issues to improve their packaging
  • Generate qualified leads and guide them through a solution-based selling cycle to close
  • Cultivate, create, and maintain strong customer relationships
  • Work together in a team consisting of customer service, design, and other internal personnel regarding customer activity
  • Submit weekly work plans, expense reports, and monthly territory analysis to management

Qualifications / Educational Requirements:

  • Minimum BSBA required

Preferred Skills:

  • 6+ years of proven sales experience with a record of opening new business in previously held position
  • Strong business acumen
  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills
  • Highly motivated, self-directed individual with a technical aptitude and problem-solving abilities
  • Working knowledge of Office 365, Excel, Word, SharePoint, and PowerPoint
  • Ability to lift 50lbs. and use hands to demonstrate corrugated products
  • Valid driver’s license in good standing with a clean driving record

    Physical Demands:

    • Demonstrate the ability to progressively lift up to 50 pounds between pallet height and 36 inches.
