POSITION SUMMARY
The Test Center Coordinator works closely with the school’s Learning Specialists and faculty to coordinate all details for the Test Center in the Chadwick library, which is designed to provide a quiet, well-supported space for extended-time and make-up testing for Middle and Upper School students. This person helps ensure that testing, including testing with accommodations, is conducted efficiently, accurately, and in alignment with relevant school procedures and student support plans.

This role also supports the ongoing improvement of Test Center systems and processes in collaboration with Learning Specialists and other relevant administrators. In addition, this person may provide general support in the library as needed.

This role requires excellent organizational and communication skills, close attention to detail, sound judgment, discretion with confidential information, and the ability to work independently.

ASSOCIATED RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Coordinate use of the Test Center for extensions, make-up testing, and accommodations for Middle and Upper School students.
  • Serve as an effective and attentive assessment proctor by consistently implementing testing best practices, maintaining standardized testing conditions, and ensuring the integrity and security of all assessments.
  • Ensure students with Individual Learning Plans testing in the Test Center receive all approved accommodations.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential records related to Test Center use, student participation, accommodations, and any issues or concerns that arise.
  • Communicate regularly with the Upper School Learning Specialist to ensure testing practices are aligned with school expectations and student support needs.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
