Test Engineer for system verification project- Tieto Tech Consulting (m/f/d)
What you will do:
- Perform and evolve System Test (ST) in four major areas: Capacity, Maintainability, Robustness, and Stability.
- When involved in feature development, take responsibility of System Test domain: proposing relevant Test Cases, creating and executing them
- Perform investigation, analysis and troubleshooting of encountered issues,
- Collaborate with other test teams or feature development teams on improving the test environment our processes and test area in general
- Develop competencies in a sophisticated technical domain.
You will bring:
- Knowledge of the topics like software quality, testing process, type of tests, product lifecycle, bug reporting, experience in Agile methodology work
- Automation with Java and/or Python
- Experience in manual or automated testing
- Very good Unix/Linux competencies and knowledge of GIT
- Good understanding of computer networks (packet forwarding, scripts, performance)
- Experience in containerization and usage of Docker and/or Kubernetes
- Education: Master or Bachelor of Science in Computer Science or equivalent formal education
- Basic knowledge and understanding of agile project methodologies and management tools (e.g., JIRA & Confluence)
- Analytical thinking skills, ability to learn quickly, collaboration and high level of communication skills,
- Fluent English at a communicative level
