Test Engineer (Packaging Design)

Minimum Qualifications BS in Mechanical Engineering, Physics, Materials Science, or similar degree. 3+ years of experience working with new product development in a fast-paced, high-volume engineering environment. Ability to work in a team-based environment. Strong engineering fundamentals with a basic understanding of design and metrology. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to travel up to 20% to support engineering build activities and design development Preferred Qualifications MS or PhD in Mechanical Engineering, Physics, Materials Science, or similar degree. Data-driven with the ability to solve complex and novel technical problems. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, including overseeing third-party vendors. Introductory knowledge of packaging materials, manufacturing processes, and evaluation testing standards such as ASTM, TAPPI, and ISTA.
