Test Manufacturing Technician

We are seeking a highly motivated Equipment Sustaining Technician to ensure the reliable operation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of manufacturing equipment. The role is critical in driving uptime, production output, and equipment performance (OEE) in a fast-paced semiconductor manufacturing environment.

Equipment Maintenance & Troubleshooting
  • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on assigned equipment
  • Diagnose and resolve equipment issues and downtime events
  • Restore equipment to operational condition within defined turnaround targets
Production Line Support
  • Provide real-time technical support to manufacturing operations
  • Ensure equipment readiness to meet production output and cycle time targets
  • Coordinate with Engineering, Production, and Quality teams for issue resolution
Performance & Continuous Improvement
  • Monitor equipment performance and support initiatives to improve uptime, reliability, and efficiency
  • Identify recurring issues and drive actions to eliminate equipment-related failures
Installation & Recovery
  • Assist in equipment setup, installation, and qualification
  • Support equipment recovery and restoration during major breakdowns
Data & Reporting
  • Maintain accurate documentation including:
    • Shift status reports
    • Downtime logs
    • Maintenance records
  • Provide data and inputs for engineering analysis and decision-making
Spare Parts & Equipment Care
  • Support management of critical spare parts and consumables
  • Ensure proper handling and care of equipment, tools, and components
Training & Collaboration
  • Train and guide operators on basic equipment operation and troubleshooting
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure line stability and performance
Safety & Compliance
  • Follow all safety protocols, EHS policies, and standard procedures
  • Maintain clean and organized work areas (5S compliance)
Education
  • Graduate of a 3-year Technology course (Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, or equivalent)
Experience
  • Minimum 2 years relevant experience in equipment or line maintenance in a semiconductor or manufacturing environment
Technical Skills
  • Knowledge in:
    • Electrical and Electronics systems
    • I/O, and sensors systems
  • Ability to:
    • Read electrical schematics
    • Use measuring instruments, diagnostic, and calibration tools
