The purpose of the Tester is to assist with the identification, investigation, documenting, User Acceptance Testing, Project Management and implementation of changes within the assigned department in line WFS platforms within WFS<\/span><\/span>
<\/p>KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:<\/b><\/span><\/span>
<\/div><\/div>
Project Delivery<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/b>
<\/p>- Interface between CRO and business project teams, partners, development teams and IT to ensure optimised project implementations and testing within project timelines<\/span><\/span>
<\/span><\/li>- Participate in departmental initiatives to continuously seek improvements in business strategies, policies, systems and procedures.<\/span><\/span>
<\/span><\/li>- Manage test process across various projects within Data and Analytics<\/span><\/span>
<\/span><\/li>- Participate in the post implementation reviews for completed projects.<\/span><\/span>
<\/span><\/li>- Make appropriate recommendations to ensure solutions are optimally implemented.<\/span><\/span>
<\/span><\/li><\/ul>Change Management\n(Software and Systems)<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/b> <\/span><\/span><\/span>
<\/span><\/p>- Maintain a change log/chronology over time. <\/span><\/span><\/span>
<\/span><\/li><\/ul>- Follow appropriate governance processes for implementation\n approval.<\/span><\/span><\/span>
<\/span><\/li><\/ul>Testing<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/b>
<\/span><\/p>- Develop\ntest plans for system and integration testing. <\/span><\/span><\/span>
<\/span><\/span><\/li>- Change\nsystems specifications based on testing problems / amended requirements. <\/span><\/span><\/span>
<\/span><\/span><\/li>- Participate\nin testing and document any failures or issues identified. Ensure that all the\nissues identified by all the testers are adequately documented, prioritised and\nscheduled for correction. <\/span><\/span><\/span>
<\/span><\/span><\/li><\/ul>Reporting <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/b>
<\/span><\/p>- Produce\nand automate regular reporting including executive and management summaries.<\/span><\/span><\/span>
<\/span><\/span><\/li><\/ul>Systems Stability and Support <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/b>
<\/span><\/p>- Ensure\nthe stability of the existing Data and Analytics environment. <\/span><\/span><\/span>
<\/span><\/span><\/li>- Monitor,\nsupport and maintain data and report delivery. <\/span><\/span><\/span>
<\/span><\/span><\/li>- Support\nall Data\-related matters, including data transfers, DWH, etc. <\/span><\/span><\/span>
<\/span><\/span><\/li><\/ul>Stakeholder Management and Specialist Advice <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/b>
<\/span><\/p>- Manage\nthe creation and hand\-over of the system administration procedures. <\/span><\/span><\/span>
<\/span><\/span><\/li>- Liaise\nwith 3rd Party Vendors as appropriate. <\/span><\/span><\/span>
<\/span><\/span><\/li>- Identify\nopportunities for data and process optimization within CRO and the broader WFS <\/span><\/span>business <\/span><\/span><\/span>
<\/span><\/span><\/li>- Ensure awareness, adherence and compliance to all data\nand security related policies and procedures. <\/span> <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>

Requirements<\/h3>
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS<\/span><\/span><\/b>
<\/p>- Relevant business degree qualification<\/span><\/span>
<\/span><\/li>- 3 Years\u2019 minimum experience with testing Data<\/span><\/span>
<\/span><\/li>- Knowledge of the financial services industry <\/span><\/span>
<\/span><\/li>- 3 years\u2019 experience in supporting and/or managing SQL and/or Credit Decision systems.<\/span><\/span>
<\/span><\/li>- Experience in testing methodologies and the implementation of software strategies<\/span><\/span>
<\/span><\/li>- Experience with Cloud tools such as Airflow, redshift. AWS Glue and so on<\/span><\/span>

<\/p>- Ability to apply Project management methodology. Both\nAgile and Waterfall <\/span><\/span>
<\/span><\/li>- Ability to troubleshoot implementation requirements\nincluding problem solving, development, decision\-making and analysis of\nproposed solutions. <\/span><\/span>
<\/span><\/li>- Ability to effectively plan and organise, integrate,\ninnovate and manage multiple implementations. <\/span><\/span>
<\/span><\/li>- Ability to assimilate new information and developments\nand adapt to later implementations. <\/span><\/span>
<\/span><\/li>- Passionate about data analytics and how this\ncontributes to the business. <\/span><\/span>
<\/span><\/li>- Proven ability to effectively communicate analytical\ninsights and improvement recommendations. <\/span><\/span>
