Job Summary
- Support the Payment Team in UAT planning, test case design, execution, defect management, and test result documentation to ensure successful delivery of payment-related enhancements and user requirements; Collaborate with business and IT stakeholders, provide daily UAT progress updates, and leverage JIRA, Excel, and PowerPoint for test management, reporting, and analysis.
Mandatory Skill-set
- Experience in User Acceptance Testing (UAT), including test planning, test case design, and execution;
- Strong knowledge of defect tracking and test management using JIRA;
- Ability to analyze business requirements, user stories, and enhancement requests;
- Good analytical, problem-solving, and logical reasoning skills;
- Strong verbal and written communication skills;
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint;
- Experience in documenting test results and providing status reporting.
Desired Skill-set
- Experience in banking or payment systems domain;
- Ability to work closely with Product Owners, IT teams, and business stakeholders;
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum project environments;
- Strong stakeholder management and coordination skills;
- Experience managing end-to-end UAT activities and defect lifecycle.
Responsibilities
- Analyze industry and internal user stories, business requirements, and enhancement requests;
- Design, prepare, and execute UAT test cases and test scripts;
- Plan and coordinate UAT activities to ensure timely and successful testing;
- Collaborate with Product Owners, IT teams, and business units to support test execution and implementation;
- Log, track, follow up, and close defects with relevant stakeholders;
- Document test execution results and maintain test evidence;
- Provide daily updates on UAT progress, risks, issues, and defect status;
- Ensure quality and readiness of payment-related system enhancements before production deployment.
