TH_Area Sales Manager
Key Responsibilities
People Management
- Manage and oversee the sales team within the assigned area (Store / PC / Supervisor) to achieve targets.
- Conduct manpower planning to align with sales targets and customer traffic.
- Provide coaching and training to enhance sales capabilities and customer experience.
- Monitor individual performance metrics (KPI, Conversion, AUT, UPT, EPT).
- Foster team motivation and engagement.
- Evaluate performance and develop talent and successors within the team.
Partner Relationship
- Build and maintain relationships with partners such as department stores, landlords, and suppliers.
- Negotiate business terms, including retail space, rental conditions, and promotional activities.
- Coordinate with partners to execute sales promotion activities (events and campaigns).
- Track performance of each location and identify growth opportunities.
- Explore new business opportunities for expansion (e.g., new locations, pop-ups, shop-in-shop).
Sales & Operations Management
- Analyze assigned business plan (BP) targets; identify strategies and opportunities; propose action plans; and monitor execution to achieve set targets.
- Develop and manage sales plans on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
- Analyze and adjust store-level strategies to ensure area sales targets are met (NOS/POS).
- Conduct sales and customer behavior analysis.
- Ensure retail standards are maintained (Visual Merchandising, stock management, and service quality).
- Manage inventory levels in alignment with demand in each area.
- Resolve operational issues and continuously improve processes.
- Effectively utilize technology and tools to support operations.
- Apply the 5P2C framework to enhance planning and execution efficiency.
- Plan and manage retail KPIs for each store to meet defined targets.
- Monitor and control visual merchandising (VM) and grooming standards in line with company guidelines.
- Work closely with the team to analyze each store’s strengths and weaknesses versus competitors, and drive sales to increase market share in alignment with company direction.
- Manage product cover days and stock movement in accordance with company policies.
- Supervise and ensure proper inventory audits with no stock loss and compliance with company standards.
- Consolidate data and provide insights, including recommendations for problem-solving and prevention, while preparing the team to effectively handle future changes.
- Enhance customer experience across all touchpoints.
- Monitor and ensure service standards at retail stores.
- Leverage customer feedback to improve sales and service quality.
