The Assistant Manager \u2013 Hostel Operations & Expansion will be responsible for end\-to\-end management of the ArivuPro Hostel and for building hostel/PG tie\-ups in other cities to support our growing student base.<\/span>

A. Hostel Operations (Existing Hostel)<\/span>

Room Allocation & Maintenance<\/span>
<\/div>

<\/div>
Allocate rooms to students as per availability and hostel policies.<\/span>
<\/div>

<\/div>
Coordinate with housekeeping/maintenance for cleanliness, repairs, and overall upkeep of rooms and common areas.<\/span>

Student Issues, Complaints & Support<\/span>
<\/div>

<\/div>
Act as the first point of contact for hostel\-related concerns.<\/span>
<\/div>

<\/div>
Handle student grievances, conflicts, and requests professionally and escalate to management when required.<\/span>

<\/div>
Safety, Security & Discipline<\/span>
<\/div>

<\/div>
Coordinate with security staff and ensure proper entry/exit protocols.<\/span>
<\/div>

<\/div>
Monitor discipline inside the hostel and ensure adherence to hostel rules.<\/span>
<\/div>

<\/div>
Take corrective action in consultation with management where needed.<\/span>

Records & Documentation<\/span>

Maintain updated records of hostel occupancy, check\-ins/check\-outs, visitors, and student movement.<\/span>

Maintain hostel\-related data (agreements, vendor details, complaints log, incident log, etc.).<\/span>

Rules & Guidelines Compliance<\/span>
<\/div>

<\/div>
Communicate hostel rules clearly to all students at the time of joining.<\/span>
<\/div>

<\/div>
Ensure all rules and guidelines are followed; issue warnings or escalate in case of violations.<\/span>

B. Expansion & Tie\-Ups (New Hostels / PGs)<\/span>

Identifying & Building Hostel/PG Tie\-Ups<\/span>
<\/div>

<\/div>
Identify suitable hostels/PGs in cities where ArivuPro operates or plans to expand.<\/span>
<\/div>

<\/div>
Meet property owners and negotiate terms for student accommodation tie\-ups.<\/span>
<\/div>

<\/div>
Ensure partner properties meet ArivuPro standards for safety, hygiene, and basic facilities.<\/span>

Student Occupancy & Outreach<\/span>
<\/div>

<\/div>
Coordinate with the admissions and counseling team to promote hostel options to students and parents.<\/span>
<\/div>

<\/div>
Work towards improving hostel occupancy and ensuring maximum utilization of available beds.<\/span>
<\/div>

<\/div>
Gather feedback from students about hostel facilities and use it to improve or change tie\-up properties if required.<\/span>

Reporting & Coordination<\/span>

Provide regular reports on hostel occupancy, issues, complaints, and expansion status to management.<\/span>

Coordinate with academic, operations, and admissions teams to align hostel planning with batch planning.<\/span>
